Lead Pastor

Tyler Evenson

Tyler has been the Lead Pastor at One Church since June 2026 and he and his wife Donna have two grown children, Analise & Caleb.

Tyler was ordained with the PAOC in 2006 and over an 18 year period he & Donna were missionaries in Holland and England. Through the years they have led team outreaches into several nations and also planted Centre Church in Brighton, England. Tyler later became the lead pastor of a second campus in Burgess Hill, England.

Tyler serves on the board of European Missions and he has a great desire to see the advancement of God’s Kingdom through local and foreign missions. Tyler & Donna feel passionately about the gospel message, desiring that all people would know and experience God’s love and purpose in their lives.

Associate Pastor

Samuel Acey

Samuel has been an Associate Pastor at One Church since June 2026. He’s married to Haidet, and they have 3 boys named Elijah, Isaac, and Josiah.

Their heart as a family is to minister amongst those who do not yet know Christ, as well as connect people within and to the church.

Samuel was ordained in 2012 with the PAOC, and has served as a Lead Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Young Adult Pastor. Other ministry experiences have led him to be a College Chaplain and Youth Camp Coordinator, as well as sit on the AB/NWT District Youth Leadership Team.

Associate Pastor

Chris French

Chris has been an Associate Pastor at One Church since June 2026, bringing a deep passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a heart for community transformation. He firmly believes in the power of Jesus to change lives and loves witnessing the tangible impact of faith in the world around him. His ministry is driven by a desire to see people grow closer to God and live out their faith authentically.

With a rich history of ministry experience, Chris has served in a variety of key pastoral and leadership roles over the years. He has invested in the next generation as a youth pastor, reached out to young adults through college campus ministry, and served people in the role of lead pastor.

Beyond his ministry work, Chris is devoted to his family. He is happily married to his wife, D’Anza, and together they are navigating the exciting teenage years with their two children, Ray and Ember. Lloydminster is the home city for both Chris and D’Anza, and they love serving this community together.

Ryley Ankney

Next-Gen Pastor

Jesse Allen

Jesse has been the Next-Gen Pastor at One Church since June 2026. He married his wife, Jessica, in August 2024.

Jesse graduated from Vanguard College with a Bachelor's Degree of Theology in Pastoral Ministry in 2024. While a student, Jesse interned at a small inner-city church that was focused on doing homeless outreach.

Jesse's heart is to serve the Lord, and to be an example to those around him. He wishes to reach out to those who have not yet heard the gospel news of Christ, as well as to mentor those who have started that walk with the Lord already.

Ryley joined One Church in June 2026 as the Children’s and Family Pastor. He and his wife, Caitlin, are passionate about building strong community, investing in the next generation, and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Before coming to One Church, Ryley spent six years serving in Fort McMurray as the Director of Next Generation Ministry and Young Adults Pastor. During that time, he developed a deep passion for creating spaces where kids, students, young adults, and families could genuinely belong, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their faith. Prior to moving to Fort McMurray, he also served in children’s ministry in Edmonton.

Ryley graduated from Vanguard College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and was ordained in 2024.

At the heart of his ministry is a desire to help people know Jesus personally and equip the church to make a real difference in their communities. Whether working with children, families, students, or leaders, his heart is to see people become resilient followers of Jesus who remain grounded in faith through every season of life.
