Our Kids’ Church is a fun, safe, and faith-filled environment where children can discover God’s love in ways that are engaging, meaningful, and age-appropriate. Through interactive Bible lessons, worship, games, creative activities, and hands-on learning, we help children build a strong foundation of faith while developing friendships and confidence. We believe every child is uniquely created by God, and our mission is to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus, understand His Word, and experience the joy of belonging to God’s family.
Meet Pastor Ryley
Children’s & Family Pastor
Ryley Ankney joined One Church in June 2026 as the Children’s and Family Pastor. He and his wife, Caitlin, are passionate about building strong community, investing in the next generation, and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Before coming to One Church, Ryley spent six years serving in Fort McMurray as the Director of Next Generation Ministry and Young Adults Pastor. During that time, he developed a deep passion for creating spaces where kids, students, young adults, and families could genuinely belong, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their faith. Prior to moving to Fort McMurray, he also served in children’s ministry in Edmonton.
Ryley graduated from Vanguard College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and was ordained in 2024.
At the heart of his ministry is a desire to help people know Jesus personally and equip the church to make a real difference in their communities. Whether working with children, families, students, or leaders, his heart is to see people become resilient followers of Jesus who remain grounded in faith through every season of life.
