We know visiting a new church can feel like a big step. Add kids into the mix, and just making it through the front doors can feel like a victory! Wherever you're coming from, we're really glad you're here.
At OC Kids, we want every child to discover who Jesus is and what it looks like to follow Him. We believe kids learn best when they're having fun, asking questions, building friendships, and surrounded by leaders who genuinely care about them.
Every Sunday is filled with Bible teaching, games, hands-on activities, and plenty of laughter. Our hope is that your child leaves knowing they matter, knowing more about Jesus than when they walked in, and already looking forward to next Sunday!
Whether church has always been part of your family's story or this is all brand new, we hope you'll feel right at home.

Plan A Visit
We have something for every age.
Pre-K (Ages 0-4)
Our Pre-K room is a place where little ones can laugh, play, explore, and begin discovering how much God loves them!
Each Sunday includes simple Bible stories, activities, crafts, playtime, and caring leaders who love spending time with kids.
We know every child is different. Some jump right in, and some need a little extra time to warm up. Either way, we're excited to welcome your little one and help them have a great morning!
Grades 4 & 5
Grades K - 3
K to Grade 3 is full of energy, curiosity, and some pretty great questions!
Every Sunday, kids experience Bible teaching, games, activities, and small-group time designed to help them discover who Jesus is and what it looks like to follow Him.
We love creating a place where kids can be themselves, make friends, ask questions, and have a lot of fun along the way!
Grades 4 and 5 are an exciting stage when kids start to ask bigger questions and make their faith their own.
Through Bible teaching, conversations, games, and activities, we help kids explore what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.
Our hope is that every student feels known, valued, and encouraged as they grow in their relationship with God and with others!
Here’s what to expect
Step 1
CHECK IN
When you arrive, stop by the OC Kids Check-In desk! If it's your first time, our team will help get your family checked in, answer any questions, and show you where to go.
Step 2
JOIN THE SERVICE
Kids begin the morning with their families in the main service. After the second song, our Pre-K and Kindergarten to Grade 3 kids are dismissed to their classes. Grade 4 and 5 heads out just before the message.
Step 3
KIDS HAVE AN AWESOME MORNING
Once they arrive in their classroom, kids will experience Bible teaching, games, activities, and conversations that help them discover more about Jesus.
Step 4
ENJOY THE SERVICE
While your kids are having a great morning, you can relax, connect with others, and enjoy the service knowing they are having a great time too!
Step 5
PICK UP
After the service, head back to the OC Kids area with your pick-up tag, and we'll bring your child to you. Be ready for stories, smiles, and maybe a craft that makes its way home!
Meet Pastor Ryley
Hi! I'm Ryley, and I'm so excited to be part of what God is doing through OC Kids at One Church!
One thing I believe deeply is that kids aren't just the future of the church; they are the church of today! They have questions, they have ideas, and they have an important place in God's story right now.
One of my favourite things is watching kids discover who Jesus is. Whether it's through a big question, a small conversation, or that moment where something just clicks, I love seeing kids realize that God knows them, loves them, and wants a relationship with them.
My hope is that every child and every family who comes to OC Kids feels like they belong. Whether you've been part of church for years or you're just checking things out, I'd love to meet you!

Your Questions, Answered

They can, BUT we recommend that if the children are of different ages, the older child will go with the younger one and help them to make friends and feel comfortable being able to attend class alone.
Our goals are that your kids make friends with children their own age while getting to learn about Jesus in a way that fits their developmental learning stage.

OC Kids is offered every Sunday service starting at 10:30am.

When you enter our lobby, you’ll head to the Family Check-in! Our team will begin checking your child into Planning Center to help ensure his or her security. Then, if you’d like, one of our team members can show you where they will be going.

Our OC Kids area is completely secure. Upon checking in your child, you will receive a family tag that permits your child to enter the kids’ area. You will be required to have the matching tag to pick up your child after the service.

Because our OC Kids area is a secure area, only our background-checked team members are permitted in the classrooms. We have an experienced team and many leaders who are capable of making sure each child is well cared for. If your child needs your attention, we will contact you via pager.

Yes. Regardless of the role they play, every pastor, staff member, and adult who serves in our OC Kids area has passed a background check. We prohibit any adult from being alone with a child.
Additionally, our team is extensively onboarded.

You’re welcome to leave anything your child might need during this time. Elementary kids are encouraged to bring a bible and journal.

OC KIDS IS A PEANUT-FREE AREA. PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY PEANUT PRODUCTS INTO THIS AREA. If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know at check-in. This information is printed on their name tag to ensure your child’s safety during snack time.

If your child is not feeling well, we kindly ask that you do not bring them to OC Kids. If they are too sick for school, it’s best for them to stay with you. We truly care about the well-being of the children and their families. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!
